Picture Book Marathon 2011 - Day 4

Today's idea gets logged under "weird."

Groblets are explorers.  They like to go camping in strange places, like inside your ears.  This isn't really a bad thing though because groblets are great story tellers.  After a long day of exploring, when the groblets have settled down for the night, they tell fantastic stories.  And never the same story twice.  This is where story ideas come from.

You may think somebody is really creative but they most likely have a groblet infestation.

Monster Name Tags 2

Monster Name Tags

Occasionally I get to help out in my wife's 5th-Grade class (she recently moved from 6th) with some kind of cool project.  Each year I get to help decorate my wife's class list that goes up outside the classroom door.  Last year I did monkeys.  This year it's all monsters (because that's kind of my thing recently.)  You might recognize some of these guys.

Bonus:  these can double as coloring pages.  Just print them, cut them out, write in your name and color away.  More coming soon.

I promise more monsters the next day and I give more monsters the next day.  That's probably the first blog  promise I've ever kept.  Truth in advertising.  Wow.
